Maybelline Coloursensational lipsticks: my mahogany!

As we are all aware of, maybelline lipsticks are good enough to be compared to high end lipsticks. And this range of mny was rated the best among drugstore brands in nude lipsticks in many blogs and surveys!

Today i'll be reviewing one of the nude lipsticks in this range: my mahogany( the pother one which i have and just adore is totally tofee which i'll be reviewing shortly)

What Maybelline sez:

· Crisper color from pure pigments. Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar

· Lipcolor so rich, so stunning… it’s sensational

Price: 299 INR

What i feel:

Its a brownish peach shade and is a great shade that will suit most indian skin tone as a nude lipstick

Its one of the best buys for a natural office look or even when you are wearing heavy eye make up.

Its texture is very smooth and it is moisturising and lasts for a healthy 6 hours with drinking/eating in between..

Pros:

Very economic at 299 INR
Moisturising
One of the most beautiful shades i had ever seen
Highly pigmented-i mean that it can easily cover pigmented lips
Stays long hours
Can suit most skin tones
Beautiful packaging;)

Cons:

It gets matte after 3 hours which some may not like
I personally love the mild candy like smell but some people mightnot;)

On the whole i rate this 9/10 and is certainly a good pick for day to day usage!

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner Review!

am gona review my most favourite eyeliner today..
the maybelline lasting drama gel liner, the only one of their eye studio range..

what maybelline sez:

- Only our oil-free formula can hold highly concentrated pigments in a clear gel
- So color is more intense and lines resist wear for 24 hours.
- Smudge-proof and Water-proof.The most intense line for lasting drama

package: it comes in a cute little glass bottle with an aluminum cap and an excellent brush..

see how thick the brush bristles r packed;

thin, thick, thickerlines.. p.s: ignore my art skills
Pros:

1'its like the best eyeliner you can get for this price .
2.the brush is so good with tightly packed bristles which enables us to draw thick, thin lines according to our preference and even indulge in eye art..
3.the finish is matte and the liner is 100% smudge proof and stays on the eye for a good 6-8 hours(could even stay longer but i have not tested)..
4.because of the matte effect , it gives a quite natural look..
5.Much against the common opinion that gel liners are for people with expertise in eye make up, it cud be even used my make up amateurs like me...hurray for that!
6.It does not sting even on the waterline!
7.i have been using it for 3 months now, and it never dried till date...
8. Is the most economic gel liner from a reputed company
9.can experiment all possible ways of eye lining

cons: i could find none

I'm absolutely in love with this product which enables you to experiment and live up to it claims..
I just cant wait to have plum and brown which maybelline has not yet launched in india.
I rate it 10/10.
Its an absolute must have to all eye make up lovers!

fab india vit e depigmentation cream review

After great reviews of fab india depigmentation cream, i was desperate in buying it andatlast bought it along with the fab india aloe under eye gel, tea masala and a cute bag too which i'll review later..he..he..)
now coming to review proper..

FABINDIA VIT E DEPIGMENTATION CREAM:

Cost: 275 INR

Directions for use: Wash and Cleanse face thoroughly . Gently smoothen on the face or affected area . For best results follow up with the sun screen lotion

Ingredients in Fab India Vitamin E De Pigmentation Cream: Water, Kojic Acid Dipalmitate, Arbutin, Ascorbic Acid, Veegum, Vitamin E Acetate, Allantoin.

the fab india guys claim that its a cream that enhances whitening and removes dark spots and i totally agree..
ascorbic acid or vit c, vit e are both powerful anti oxidants ie they fight damage to our skin by various ways!
allantoin is known for regenerative property..
kojic acid effectively acts against melanocytes decreasing melaninn production!

Efficacy:
i have been using this for almost 3 weeks now and i would like to say this is the most effective depigmentation cream i have ever used..i had used ponds, vaseline, olay, fair and lovely, nature esseence, biotique etc!
it actually completely erased a black post acne scar on my face which was there for years..

How i used it:
i used it twice everyday..first as soon as i get up after washing my face along with the under eye gel..i remove it before i go out..its there on my face only for 2 hours!
the next before sleep.
the cream might look a bit oily but on massaging properly , the oilinesss vanished;)

pluses:
1.effective
2.economic
3.smells good
4.no break outs
5.vit e and c
6.there is a white plastic cover after the lid to prevent contamination!
7.huge quantity(i hav been using it for 3 weeks and almost 80% is still left)

cons:
nothing except the oiliness factor and the controversial kojic acid( am sure the kojic acid wont b a prob since it wud have been scrrened by our drug analysts and if it had been harmful extent, it wud have been banned)

its definitely worth a buy for people who would like to be fairer and sun and age spot free!

i'll rate it 8.5/10
